Jonah Almanzar was born in Orange County, California, where at age 16 he took his first dance class and was struck with a deep passion for the art form. He graduated from Chapman University in 2020 with a Bachelor’s degree in dance and has since been working as a LA-based commercial dancer signed with Bloc Talent Agency.

Some of his favorite credits include being the lead in “The Queens Ball: A Bridgerton Experience” put on by Netfilx, touring with Latin pop group “Rebelde”, dancing in an international commercial for Japanese candy “HiChew”, and performing in Shanghai for the jewelry company Cartier. In conjunction with his performance experience, Jonah has been teaching and choreographing dance for over eight years and just finished creating a show for MSC cruise lines. Jonah strives to continually perfect his craft and form a deeper sense of artistry within all of his work as a performer, choreographer, and educator.
